Dr Stuart Turner MD BChir MA(Cantab) FRCP(Lon) FRCPsych
is a general adult psychiatrist on the specialist register of the General Medical
Council. Past appointments include Medical Director of Camden and Islington
Community NHS Trust, Campus Dean in the Royal Free and University College Medical
School, President of the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS)
and member of the PTSD guideline development group for the National Institute
for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE). He is currently President of the
International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS) and Chair of Trustees
of the Refugee Therapy Centre and the Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law.

Dr Peter Scragg BSc MSc PsychD DClinHyp CPsychol
is a clinical psychologist
on the register of the British Psychological Society. He is a skilled cognitive-behavioural
therapist (CBT) who has worked with a wide range of psychological problems. He has
more than 7 years of experience in the field of traumatic stress, most recently managing
the screening programme for survivors of the July 7th bombings. He has also worked in
University College London,
since 1995, as a part-time Lecturer in Psychology. His main areas of teaching include anxiety
disorders, psychological assessment, and cognitive-behavioural therapy. He has published scientific
papers concerned with psychological assessment and cognitive-behavioural therapy.
Dr Jane Herlihy MPhil DClinPsych CPsychol
is a clinical psychologist on the
Register of the British Psychological Society. She is Director of the recently formed
Centre for the Study of Emotion and Law. She also works in the
University of Bristol where she is a clinical tutor on the Doctorate in Clinical
Psychology course, undertaking teaching and research supervision as well as
co-ordinating the Psychological Therapies theme. She has previously worked in the
Traumatic Stress Clinic offering specialist psychological treatment for people
with trauma reactions and has carried out empirical research on trauma and memory.
She has a special interest in narrative therapies.
