Dr Peter Scragg
Dr Peter Scragg BSc MSc PsychD DClinHyp CPsychol
is a British Psychological Society Chartered
Psychologist. He qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1992 and is registered to practice as
a Clinical Psychologist with the Health Professions Council. He has worked in a variety of
settings including psychological medicine, forensic, general adult and specialist traumatic
stress services. Following the July 7th 2005 bombings in London he managed the screening
programme for the survivors. This role involved him in extensive psychological
assessments and providing psychological treatment to a large number of individuals who had
been exposed to the bombings.
Dr Scragg is a skilled cognitive-behavioural therapist (CBT) who has worked with a wide
range of psychological problems. He has also worked in
University College London, since 1995,
as a part-time member of academic staff (Principal Teaching Fellow). His main areas of
teaching include anxiety disorders, psychological assessment, and cognitive-behavioural therapy.
